On the morning of Monday February 26th, 2024, Contract Instructors, Teaching Assistants, Graduate Assistants and Part-time Librarians represented by CUPE Local 3903, began a strike action against York University.   York University simultaneously initiated an employer lock out of all workers represented by CUPE 3903.   To stay up to date on this situation please see York University's official website for labour negotiations   and the CUPE 3903 website.
