York University - CUPE 3903 Labour Negotiations

York University and CUPE 3903, representing Teaching Assistants, Contract Course Instructors and some Research Assistants, are presently engaged in collective bargaining.   On Thursday February 22nd, the union will be in a legal strike position and it will also be legal for the University to "lock-out" CUPE 3903's members.   There are a number of bargaining sessions scheduled between now and then. It is also worth remembering that in the majority of cases, collective bargaining leads to an agreement without a strike or lock-out.   To stay up to date on this situation please see York University's official website for labour negotiations   and the CUPE 3903 website.
